Copy an entire frame?

Postby DavidS » Sun Jan 31, 2010 6:20 pm

Anyone have an easier way to copy an entire frame, code and all?

It would be *so* much easier to add levels to my lander game if I could just copy and modify the second level.

LS cant copy frames whole.

You have to write down instance names, copy code from AS box, copy all sprites and then paste in the other frame.

Copying and pasting sometimes creates the annoying liveswif glitch of 'Ghost Sprites'

You can do the following:
Step one - Create a liveswif file with only one sprite (Your wall or w.e)
Step two - Make sure all the codes are in that sprite
Step three - Save the liveswif document to your desktop
Step four - Drag the file to
C:\Program Files\LiveSwif\LiveSwif 2.2\library
or
C:\Program Files\LiveSwif 2.2\library
Step five - In your game file ,under the list of sprites, there are two tabs. One says "Library" and the other "File Lib". Click "File Lib"
Step six - Find the file you made in step one and drag it to your game
Step seven - Enjoy
